Watch service overview

What we offer

Three services, clearly priced.

Each service has a defined scope and a published price. No vague estimates, no surprises after drop-off.

How we approach every job

Method before tools

1. Inspect

We open and examine the watch before confirming price or scope.

2. Agree

We confirm scope and price. Work starts only after your go-ahead.

3. Service

The agreed work is carried out carefully using proper equipment and lubricants.

4. Document

A condition note returns with the watch recording what was done and the post-service timing result.

Lume and hands refresh
Service 01

Lume & Hands Refresh

Gentle cleaning of hands and, where suitable, careful renewal of luminous material to improve low-light legibility. We work conservatively to keep the dial's character. A small, tactful update for a watch you reach for after dark.

Old luminous compound degrades over time and loses its ability to hold and release a charge. Refreshing it improves legibility in low light without changing the watch's visual character, provided the work is done carefully. We apply material that matches the original scale and placement as closely as possible.

  • Hands cleaned and inspected before any lume is applied
  • Luminous material renewed where the original is degraded or missing
  • Dial not touched unless explicitly agreed
  • Suitable for dress and sport watches

Process steps:

1Hands removed carefully, cleaned ultrasonically
2Existing lume condition assessed under magnification
3Suitable lume applied in original dimensions
4Hands refitted and case sealed
Service 02

Case Refinishing

Light refinishing of case and bracelet surfaces to reduce visible scratches while preserving original lines. We match brushed and polished areas to the factory pattern as closely as the metal allows. A measured cosmetic refresh, not a reshaping.

Many watches are over-polished during service, which rounds edges, blends surface zones, and removes texture that was part of the original design. We work with finer abrasives and spend more time achieving the right result in each distinct zone, rather than applying a uniform polish across the whole case.

  • Brushed and polished zones treated separately
  • Case lugs and edges kept sharp
  • Bracelet surfaces matched to case finish
  • Realistic outcome discussed during assessment

Process steps:

1Case and bracelet assessed for depth of scratches
2Factory finish pattern photographed and referenced
3Each zone worked with appropriate tools and abrasive grade
4Final inspection under raking light before handover

Complete mechanical service
Service 03

Complete Mechanical Service

A full disassembly, clean, lubrication, and timing check for hand-wound and automatic movements. Returned with a written condition note and a coverage period on the work. A thorough reset that brings a tired watch back to steady running.

Over time, lubricants thicken, migrate, or evaporate. Contaminants enter the movement. Rate accuracy drifts. A full service resets all of this — every component cleaned, every oil point freshly lubricated with the correct grade, and the rate verified on a timing machine before the movement is sealed back into the case.

  • Full disassembly of the movement
  • Ultrasonic cleaning of all components
  • Re-oiling with calibre-appropriate lubricants
  • Multi-position timing machine verification
  • Written condition note at handover

Process steps:

1Movement removed from case, parts catalogued
2All components ultrasonically cleaned and dried
3Reassembly with fresh lubricants at each oil point
4Timing checked across four positions on timing machine
5Movement seated, case sealed, condition note prepared

Best for: Lume & Hands

Watches that are running well but are hard to read in low light, or hands that show degraded luminous material.

Best for: Case Refinishing

Watches with surface scratches and a case or bracelet that no longer reflects the care the movement inside deserves.

Best for: Complete Service

Watches that have not been serviced in four or more years, or that show rate issues, sluggish winding, or irregular stopping.

Across all services

Technical standards we hold ourselves to

Secure intake logging

Every watch is tagged and entered into our log from the moment it arrives. It does not leave without the same process in reverse.

Ultrasonic cleaning

Removed parts are cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, not wiped. This removes oils, dust, and oxidation that manual cleaning misses.

Correct lubricant grades

Different parts of a movement require different viscosities. We use the specified grade for each location — not a general-purpose watchmaker's oil.

Timing machine testing

Full service movements are measured across crown-up, dial-up, and dial-down positions at minimum. Deviation and amplitude are both noted.

Written documentation

A condition note accompanies every returned watch. It records what was done and is a reference for the next service or any future work.

Scope agreement first

We do not proceed beyond what was agreed without contacting you. Unexpected findings are discussed before any additional work is started.

Pricing

Published prices, no surprises

Prices apply to standard scope. If additional work is needed after the assessment, it is discussed and agreed before proceeding. All prices in Thai Baht (฿).
